    • Rod Picott
      a pal of Slaid Cleaves with a monster songwriting talent. we make just a few exceptions for out-of-staters, and this will be worth it.
    • Sisters Morales Mariachi Band
      after their foursome wowed rphc in early 06, we began talking about a return engagement with their full mariachi band on the backyard Wavy Stage. a true EVENT! spring '07 possibly? andele!
    • Jay Sims
      jay wins "the prairie favorite" award. as one of my heroes on the planet, i hope to host jay every year.
    • Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash
      the music is as interesting as the name. we hope to see them here in 2007.

      i've known cyd through many phases of her life. i remember having coffee with cyd once a bunch of years ago, and her saying 'i think i'd like to do something with music.' be careful what you wish for; cyd now perfoms both with ruthie foster and solo.
    • South Austin Jug Band
      Warren Hood used to fiddle with these guys. Now they've got Brian Beken, formerly of the Sidehill Gougers. Gougers then got Andy Tindall. Good fiddles get around.

    • Mick Sterling and the Stud Brothers
      well, this may be a stretch, but these guys are the house band at bunkers in minneapolis on sunday nights. a great R&B band! maybe when they do that world tour...
